Load dump pulses generated by the LDS 200NxxD comply with ISO 7637-2, ISO 16750-2, SAE J1113 and numerous vehicle manufacturer standards
The LDS 200NxxD Series Load Dump Pulse Simulator reproduces the scenario where the battery is suddenly disconnected from the alternator (such as disconnection caused by corrosion) while the alternator supplies charging current to the battery. Such high-energy load dump pulses are highly destructive. The LDS 200NxxD generates this type of high-energy pulse with a pulse duration of hundreds of milliseconds.
