Day Two: First Encounter with the Ancient Capital

We set off for Toshodaiji Temple, Nara Park, Todaiji Temple, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Stepping away from busy work and walking through these tranquil places was a wonderful way to unwind.

In Nara Park, deer appear without needing to go deep into the forest. These gentle creatures are like forest spirits, and interacting with them in harmony with nature soothes the anxieties of a fast‑paced life.

Day Three: Wandering the Ancient Capital

We visited Kiyomizu‑dera Temple, Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, Hanamikoji Street, and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Surrounded by historic temples and beautiful landscapes, we experienced the charm of Japan’s millennium‑old capital.

Day Four: Osaka Vibes

We toured Osaka Castle Park and Shinsaibashi. Osaka Castle Park lets you travel back in time to feel the glory of Japan’s past, while Shinsaibashi is a must‑visit for fashion‑lovers and trendseekers – offering a completely different side of Japanese culture.

Day Five: Heading Home

We headed to the Rinku Premium Outlets near Kansai Airport. The architecture there is styled after the historic port city of Charleston in the United States. It’s about 15 minutes from the airport, so it was the perfect spot for a final shopping spree before returning home.

Reflections on the Journey

Work exists to enable a better life. Through this team‑building activity, we had the chance to step away from our busy routines and truly relax – and for that, we are already deeply grateful. Traveling to Japan, a country rich in tradition, we were moved each day by the resilience, patience, and attention to detail embedded in Japanese culture. Seeing the big picture while perfecting the small details – perhaps that is the essence of craftsmanship. Reflecting on this, our trip to Japan felt even more rewarding.

With light and happy hearts, the marketing team reluctantly concluded their journey to Japan. Their camaraderie and team cohesion grew enormously, and their morale and sense of purpose were strongly reignited – fully fueling more efficient collaboration in the work ahead. Recharged and ready, they returned to the office, determined to give their all and keep striving...
