The VSS 298 Spike Voltage Simulator is designed to meet the test requirements of GJB 298.

The VSS 298 is capable of generating up to 200 polarity alternating voltage spike signals to DUT in one second, the pulse interval can be set randomly from 5 ms to 1,000 ms and peak voltage can be set from 50 V to 300 V, which can meet the requirement of spike signal sensitivity test on airplane power line. Polarity can be set to only positive, only negative, positive first then negative, negative first and then positive. DC coupling and protective network are built in.
