UL 60384-14 is the North American adoption of the international sectional specification for fixed capacitors used for electromagnetic interference suppression and for connection to the supply mains, and it is the document under which such components are recognised in the United States and Canada. The certificate matters commercially as much as technically, because these capacitors are safety critical components: a short circuit in a capacitor placed across the line, or a breakdown in one connected between line and earth, can start a fire or expose a user to mains potential. A designer building a product for the North American market will therefore normally be required to use a component that carries a recognised component mark to this standard, and the substitution of an equivalent component from an unapproved source invalidates the product certification. The standard defines the X and Y classifications, the ratings and the test programme, including voltage proof, endurance and active flammability.
The VSG 384A impulse voltage simulator is developed in accordance with IEC 60384-14 and UL 60384-14 standards. It can generate a 1.7/46 μs pulse voltage waveform with a maximum output voltage of 15 kV.
The VSG 384B impulse voltage simulator is developed in accordance with IEC 60384-14 and UL 60384-14 standards. It can generate a 1.6/47 μs pulse voltage waveform with a maximum output voltage of 15 kV.
• Using the product inquiry function can help you quickly learn about the product's price and other related information.
• You can either inquire about a single product directly, or select multiple products to add to the inquiry bar and inquire about them together.
• How to make an inquiry

1. Using the product comparison function can help you find the target product you need for selection more quickly and easily.
2. You can add up to 5 products for comparison. Product models and parameters may vary across different series. It is recommended to compare products within the same series.
3. How to use the comparison bar.
