WJ/T 9042 is a Chinese civil explosives industry standard, issued in the WJ series that governs the manufacture and testing of explosives and detonators for civilian use in mining, quarrying and construction, and it defines the method by which the electrostatic sensitivity of an industrial electric detonator is determined. The civilian context gives the requirement its particular importance. A detonator used in a mine carries an electrically initiated charge and is connected by a leg wire that may be several metres long and is handled by workers wearing clothing that generates static charge; a discharge that is harmless to electronics can therefore be sufficient to initiate the device, and the resulting accident would occur in an environment where several people are working with bulk explosive. The standard therefore defines the test circuit representing the human body and the handling equipment, the capacitance and series resistance, the method of applying the discharge, and the criteria by which initiation is judged to have occurred.
• Using the product inquiry function can help you quickly learn about the product's price and other related information.
• You can either inquire about a single product directly, or select multiple products to add to the inquiry bar and inquire about them together.
