High frequency recommended vocabulary
This Chinese standard defines the high voltage test techniques applied to low voltage equipment, and it occupies a useful position in the Chinese system because it links the general high voltage practice of the national test technique series with the dielectric requirements written into low voltage product standards. The 2019 edition consolidated material that had previously been published in separate parts and aligned the technical content with the international standard through a modified adoption, in which the Chinese text follows the international document with national deviations marked in the foreword and wherever they occur. For a manufacturer the practical consequence is that the dielectric and impulse tests demanded by a Chinese low voltage product standard may be specified by reference to this document rather than described in the product standard itself, so the test house must apply the requirements recorded here, including the requirements for the generators and the measuring systems used to perform them.

It’s capable of generating 1.2/50μs impulse voltage pulses from 0.5 kV to 25 kV, providing reliable and accurate testing performance.
